I saw this link on my friend's FB wall this morning. I had prayed for God to talk to me, to tell me if He really loved me. A flush came over me when I read the headline. Then, when I read it, I felt like God was talking to me. I have never heard Him so clearly before. It was not audible, nut it was warm, true and so very real. I wanted you to know. I prayed and I really expected to hear from God and I did.

This particular translation was the New Living Translation, however it also translated "through" in the following:

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

New American Standard Bible (©1995)
For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

International Standard Version (©2008)
because while the Law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus the Messiah.

GOD'S WORD® Translation (©1995)
The Teachings were given through Moses, but kindness and truth came into existence through Jesus Christ.

For an unemployed scam artist, that probably went quick. As the ship was sinking, he tried to steal more, but eventually his primary supporters realized what he was doing and stepped away, everything crashed after that.
