Dear God, So many things just look impossible. Sometimes I wonder how I will make it through this trial or how will we survive or where is this problem leading? But, when I stop concentrating on the problem and look to You and Your promises, I am relieved. For I know that all things are possible through You. You are in control and will make all things work to the good for those who love You. Thank You for those promises and for the “breath of fresh air” I feel in knowing You are here with me, for me, and in me through Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.

God does not slumber or sleep.——It usually starts around nine or ten oclock at night when the house is quiet, I slip under the covers and squish my pillow to the right shape and turn off the light. Then I unfortunately reach for my imaginary magnifying glass and begin to have an enlarged look at my difficulties. I am never more awake than when I get into bed. Pain of any sort seems to be magnified at night. Fears are greater, sorrow is deeper. Its hard to see accurately in the darkness. At some point I remember who God is—even the darkness is light to him. Keep him in clear view. Go to that place of peace that you can only know by knowing God and rest there and say ” because of the finished work of Jesus, I am more than ok. I will allways be taken care of by you Father through Jesus, the Lord of Lords and King of kings.
